Around 1870 the Rumanian rail network was expanding, and a line was built from Bucharest to Guirgevo, in the south of the country. The contractors were Barkley Brothers, a English firm. This is one of those bonds. Redemption stamps on the face. Extremely rare and very early for Romanian scripophily.
