It was here that, with support of King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the dream of Richard Wagner - an opera house intended solely for his music, became reality. Design by Franz Stassen, showing the Bayreuth opera house, a portrait of Richard Wagner, an old oak in the center (the germanic tree of life), the god Odin with his spear, etc. As such, it shows a scene of Wagners epic music drama Ring der Nibelungen. A true piece of art.
