Title in English: First Czech-Moravian Construction Company in Prague. Most decorative share, with a very wide border, and vignettes showing the company's products - locomotive, bridge, steamship, steam-engine, mining-machinery, silos, etc, also their factory in Prague. Arms of Bohemia and Moravia, and a lady with putti and more machinery. The company was formed in Prague, 1870, by 30 investors to construct machinery for the sugar industry. The company capital amounted to 1 million gulden. Yet, the company also wished to engage itself in other construction works (for the mining industry, bridges,...). In 1901, the company also starts building locomotives and 2 years later, gas engines. In 1907, a joint venture with F. Ringhoffer results in the Prager AutomobilfabrikGes. ('Praga'-cars). Further expansion followed in the shipping and aviation industry. Merged in 1927 with two other companies(Kolben& Co. and Danek& Co.) to form Ceskomoravska-Kolben-Danek, better known as CKD. It was one of the biggest Czechoslovak industrial conglomerats with a workforce of 50,000 people between 1946-1990. After the communist area, the firm was split into several separate companies. A most attractive share of one of the most important of all Czech industrial companies.
