Probably issued around 1911 (although the date is not filled in on the cert., but we have seen other denominations issued in 1911). Formed 1887 to acquire properties on farm Doornfontein, close to Johannesburg. Very profitable in the years around 1905, but less so in later years. Liquidated 1930. First time we have seen this 10 shares certificate. Printed by Waterlow, London, in large format, with a vignette of a classical lady near the mine. Text in English and French.
