The building still stands today, located in Qingdao (Tsingtao - a major city on the east coast of China). Tsingtao was a German colony until1914. Japan ruled the area between 1914 and 1922 and again from 1938 until 1945. The exchange, in the city's financial district, was used to trade the imported and exported goods, a considerable business as Qingdao had (and still has) a major port. Extremely rare.
