Formed 1898 Brussels to acquire concessions for coal-mining from the Nieder-OesterreichischeKohlenGewerkschaft. The concessions were Grubenmassen, Uberschanen and Freischürfen, all together some 16,000 hectares located in St.Pölten and Thallern. Coal-mining in Thallern dates back to 1758, but ended in 1922, as no longer profitable. Large format with pretty vignette of the mines, andborder with mythical animals. This type is extremely rare.
