It dates from 1920, when it was formed as a balloon company, based at Koekelberg, near Brussels. It became closely associated with SABENA. The company survived WWII by assemblying various fighter aircraft. Later it took on space activities. It still exists today, working on Ariane, Airbus, and various work for the Belgian government.
