The company was established in 1897 with a capital of 3 million roubles, shares were first issued in 1898. Gold, lead and cadmium were first exploited around Zyrjanovsk in the late 18th century. The town is located in today's eastern Kazakhstan. The mines and its surroundings were property of the Russian Tsar previous to the establishment of this company. In other words, the Tsar sold the mines (named Poutinzevsk and Moscwinsk) to three Russian businessmen (named on the back of the share) in March 1897 so that they could further exploit the mines and the already existing electrolytic factory. Extremely rare.
