Renamed Bank of America and Italy in 1922 to evidence its strategy to facilitate Italian-American commercial relations (international trade, Italian emigrants in the USA,...). Became one of the main Italian private banks after WWII. Absorbed by Deutsche Bank in 1986. First time in our auctions.
