OOST-VLAANDEREN. GAND. Part de Fondateur. red, black. #100. No 36. Only 100 issued. Attractive large format piece, with vignettes of St.Baafs cathedral and the belfry, showing this before the wood top was destroyed by fire in 1911, and rebuilt in stone. Also the arms of Gent and Oost-Vlaanderen. Signed as administrateurs by Albert Verhaeghe de Naeyer, banker of Gent, and Eugène-Gustave-Charles vanden Bos, shoe manufacturer of St.Josse-ten-Nooden. The latter sold his property at 20, Place des Armes, Gent, to the bank. A little staining. This founder share is extremely rare. We last sold such a piece in 1990!
