Through its (majority) participations it was involved in the construction and/or operating of tramway lines inAgram (=Zagreb, Croatia), Antwerp and Ostend (Belgium), Belgrade (Serbia), Bialystok (Poland/Russia), Calais, Dunkerque and Nantes (France), Galatz (Romania), Kazan, Kiev, Koursk and Saratov (Russia), Naples (Italy), Rosario (Argentinia), Smyrne(Ottoman Empire), Tunis (Tunisia), Bangkok (Thailand), Frankfurt, Barmen-Elberfeld, Köln (Germany), etc. In 1910, the Société Générale took the majority of the company through an important capital increase. Because of the Russian revolution, the company suffered heavy losses. In the end, the company became part of Tractebel.
