Shares of Rs.10. green, black. No 478. Folds with tiny hole and edge-split, also pin-hole. Originally a partnership est. 1883 to acquire 5000 acres to cultivate sugar. By 1884 five plantations had been opened up and a mill established. Became a joint-stock company in 1914. Expanded further in the 1920s and became one of the most important sugar factories in India. Active until at least 1971.
