The company capital amounted to 266.800 Thaler divided into 1334 Shares of 200 Thalern Preuss. Cour. each. The board of directors consisted of Hub. Baur (an Aachener banker), Carl Krako (merchant in Aachen), Janssens-Verbeyst (landlord in Brussels), E. Pavy (manufacturer from Brussels) and J.B. Dansaert (stockbroker from Brussels). A carpet manufacturer. We could not find much information on the company itself. However, its founder, Joh. Heiliger did register patents on the preparation of leather cloth and the making of machine belts in 1857. The firm was located on the kl. Kölnstr. A-1047. This must be one of the earliest shares of an industrial company in the Aachen region. We believe this to be an unique piece, discovered by us in 2014 and now back on the market.
