38 ISERE. VOIRON. CertificatNominatifd'Actions de F500. yellow, black. No 322. Superbly-decorated large format piece. Design by Cassien, engraved by Renard, shows the company's paper-mills, the town of Voiron, hunting scenes, etc. around Grenoble. Originally founded in 1737 as a grain mill but soon after focusing on paper manufacturing. Since 2000 jointly owned by Papeteries Matussière et Forest and Arjo Wiggins. The Voiron factory produces some 11,000 tons of paper a year and has a staff of 250 people. It's very rare for a company to survive 270 years and this is certainly the most pretty (modern) share of such an old company we've ever seen.
