PARIS. Action de F1000. blue, gold, black, pink. No 189. Folds. A remarkable piece! The attractive share shows the casino and concert-hall, in a delicate border with names of composers, dramatists and scientists. Nicolo Paganini (born Genova 1784, died Nice 1840) was a very famous violinist and composer of music for the violin. He toured widely in Europe, with enormous success. He came to Paris for the first time in 1831, where he played at the Opéra, to great crowds who had bought very expensive tickets, and returned regularly in later years. To exploithis reputation, speculators built a concert-hall on the Chaussée d'Antin, which they named the Casino Paganini. They lost their investment. The legal disputes which followed weakened the violinist, and he died soon afterwards.Interesting, very early, most attractive and scarce share.
