Its ruins can be found outside the modern village of Ören, Mugla Province, Turkey. The region was known for its deposits of raw materials. The company was founded in 1896 in Paris with a capital of 50.000 Francs divided into 1500 shares. This certificate, with two attractive vignettes symbolising trade and industry, is quite rare.
