The 130-mile line ran from Harlem MO (opposite Kansas City) to the Iowa state line, where it connected by the line of an Iowa company to Des Moines, and there with the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific RR Co. In 1870 became part of the Kansas City, St. Joseph& Council Bluffs RR Co., which in 1901 was acquired by the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy. Vignette of a train crossing a bridge across a wide river (doubtless the Missouri). Signatures hole-cancelled.
