STOCKHOLM. Actie. black. No 164. Folds. Handwritten share (in an easily readable handwriting) with transfer notes until 1854 on the inner page. The company was originally founded 1825 by Gustaf Sebastian Tham to mine the Lerbäck and Johannesborg mines in the Lerbäck parish, Örebro county. Cobalt ore was found and more than 500 workers were employed by the company in the first years. After some difficult years, the company purchased in 1843 the Frederiks-bergsbolaget. In 1857, the Belgian company La Vielle Montagne purchased the company. It remained operational until the early 1900s. This nominative share is part of a capital increase through the issue of just 10 new shares (1825: 140 shares, 1843: 18 new shares, 1847: 10 shares). As such a truly extremely rare share which we can offer for the first time.
