Cert. of £10 Share. black. No 1725. Built a 10 miles line from Coalville(joined from the Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway) to the town of Loughborough, in Leicestershire and a rich coal mining area. The line was worked by the London and North Western Railway which had subscribed a third of the capital in exchange for 50% of the gross receipts. Taken over by the London Midland & Scottish Railway in 1923.
