The investor not only received 5% interest but also free personal admission to the Gardens of the Society. The Royal Horticultural Society was founded in 1804 and is today the UK's leading gardening charity. It promotes several big flower shows and supports children to start gardening. It still runs four major gardens in England. The lot includes a bond transfer certificate as well as a letter written by the Horticultural Society in 1921 stating that by a decision of the Court of Appeal in 1880, the holders of these debentures have no more rights versus the Society.
