A privateer share issued during the French Revolution, on 9 April 1801 (or, as stated on the share according to the revolutionary calendar: 19 Germinal An 9). The ship, named l'Aventure, was 88 feet long, 22 feet width and 9 feet deep. It was armed with20 cannons and 4 small cannons and had a crew of 150 sailors. The ship was to travel between Bordeaux to Ile-de-France (area around Paris). According to a specialised French website, this corsair captured 7 English ships before it was taken by the English on 2 November 1803.
