BRUXELLLES. Action Privilégiée de F500. brown, buff, black. # 3600. No 2607. Mildly discoloured paper. Formed in Brussels in 1898 to acquire the concessions of count Léontieff in the equatorial provinces of Abyssinia (Ethiopia). These includes the monopoly export of ivory, gold, coffee, rubber, ostrich feathers, musk and all agricultural products, as well as the monopoly of supply of most government needs in the area. Large format, with underprint and corner vignettes of the coat-of-arms of Ethiopia, also vignettes of a castle and of Ethiopians with a camel. Since not a single dividend coupon has been cut, it seems that these rights were of little value to the company.
