The land, already an elegant residential quarter, was in the Ezbekieh quarter, to the north of Shepherd's Hotel, and belonged to Prince Said Halim Pasha. The prince was the largest shareholder in the new company. The other main shareholders were Brussels landowners. Very fine design, with border of pharaonic themes - pyramids & sphinx, hieroglyphics, eagle, etc., and palm-trees.First time we offer a piece from this company this early (the common types date from 1905 to 1939).
