KOBENHAVN. Aktiebrev Kr.1000. Serie B. pink, black. No 792. A few small stains. Arms of the company. The company was a venture of Harald Plum (1881-1929), a Danish Jewish businessman who during WWI sold thousands of Danish rifles to Russia at huge profits. This business was in the hands of the Danish Rifle Syndicate, the Danish Transatlantic Steamship Corp. and the Russian Trading Co (the latter of which we offer here a share), basically all H. Plum companies. After the Soviet Revolution Plum used his enormous war time profits to finance anti-Bolshevik compaigns of the White Army (generals Yudenitch and Kolchak). He was presecuted in Denmark but could nevertheless continue with his other business, being the production of butter (Crown Butter and Le Brun). In the end, he committed suicide.
