BRUXELLES. 1. Part de Fondateur, 1919. 2. Action de F500, 1920. Both specimen. Both of identical design (text in different colours). Fine design by Constant MONTALD, of Gent, of lovely ladies buying new dresses, brought to them by a naked Mercury. The company's principal shops were on the rue Neuve, Brussels, and Meir, Antwerp, but the statuts on the reverse give details of many other properties. The name still exists today, as Galeria Inno. Perhaps the finest of Belgian shop shares. Montald (1862-1944) was encouraged in his studies by his native city of Ghent. He painted many very large historical scenes, but also created portraits and still life work. The few works by him on bonds and shares are very distinctive and striking. This is perhaps the best-known of them. What we offer here are two unissued pieces, in excellent condition and extremely rare.
