The main activity was passenger and freight transport in the Danube and other rivers, as well as sea navigation in the Black and Mediterranean Seas.The capital was increased in 1914, 1916, 1918 and 1923. Stagnant economic conditions in central Europe in the early 1920s cut the company's freight earnings, although passenger trade remained at a good level. At this date the company owned 77 ships. There were certificates for 1, 5, 10 and 25 shares. This share is one of the most beautiful of old Hungarian shares.
