BRUXELLES. Part de Capital de F215.000. blue, black. #400. No 75. Folds. Founded 1928 to colonize the region around Lake Kivu, mainly by Flemish farmers and former Belgian soldiers. The organisation created several companies to exploit the region, e.g. the Soc. Auxiliaire agricole du Kivu (Saak) and the Soc. Immobilière au Kivu (Simak). The plans to construct a railroad between Lake Kivu and Lake Tanganyika (C.D.F. au Kivu) were not successful. Upon independence, the company was restructured as a Belgian Société Anonyme and renamed Sobaki, basically a holding company. Only 400 shares issued, with the huge nominal value of 215.000 francs each. First time offered by us.
