Part of a loan of Rs.40,000,000 repayable 1968-78 to finance works at the port of Rangoon, known as the Thilawa Port, a deep river port 16 miles south of Yangon (as Rangoon is known today) and largest and busiest port of Myanmar/Burma). Burma was a British colony until 1948. First time in our auctions.
