ANTWERPEN. Aandeel van F50. green, buff. No 4624. Moderate edge-damage at left border. Very attractive and previously unseen share. Coat of arms of Antwerp, large vignette of a king with a gigantic beer stein. At the bottom, two semi-nude women are toasting with wine and champagne. The name liquor distillery is somewhat misleading as our research shows this was basically a beer brewery located in Borgerhout (Terloostraat) where bock was produced. This is a dark, malty and lightly hopped ale beer first popular in Germany. The brewery, managed by the Antwerp innkeepers' association, went bankrupt in 1928. A unique discovery.
