It took over the Tramways Maritimes, Tramways du Sud, Tramways Nationaux and Tramways-Omnibus, and later the lines of the Tramways Anversois. In 1928 this company was converted into a holding, as Electrofina, owning almost all the shares of Tramways d'Anvers, as well as other interests, such as Autobus Anversois. The company was liquidated in 1957, at the expiry of the company's concessions, and the transfer of the transport in Antwerp to public ownership.
