Issued by the Grand-Duchy of Finland, then part of the Tsarist Empire, in Helsinki. Arms of Finland in two corners. The loan, amounting to 40.681.824 Finnish Marks, was intended to repay two previous railroad loans (1874, 1881) and to finance more railroad construction in the Grand-Duchy. This is the oldest Finnish railroad scripophily we have ever seen.
