BRUXELLES. 25 Actions de F25. red, green. #40000. No 22301-25. Belgian company established to create and operate a panorama at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition. The panorama was to show the famous Vesuvius eruption in 79 A.D. which destroyed both Herculaneum and Pompeii and, 2000 years later, turned them into a major tourist attraction. The panorama soon after foundation decided to expand its plans, also creating a panorama of the South African wildlife, as evidenced by the change of the original company name (which was simply Vésuve à Paris). Impressive vignette of the Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples in striking red colour.
