PARIS. 6% Obligation de F500. green, buff. #7000. No 272. Two trimmed borders. Ecuador's main port, Guayaquil, is a long way from Quito, the capital. In 1909 work started, under a contract with the Cie Française des CdF de l'Equateur, to build a new line from the much nearer Bahia de Caraquez to Quito, and develop the port. We believe that only the first 47 miles of the railway were built, inland to Chone. This bond was for development of the port, and was sold by the French company in Paris. Text in French and Spanish.
