Formed 1898 Brussels to acquire concessions for coal-mining from the Nieder-Österreichische Kohlen Gewerkschaft. The concessions were Grubenmassen, Uberschanen and Freischürfen, all together some 16,000 hectares located in St.Pölten and Thallern. Coal-mining in Thallern dates back to 1758, but ended in 1922, as no longer profitable. Large format with pretty vignette of the mines, and border with mythical animals. Extremely rare.
